In the book, Effie is not here in district 13 and it's Finnick who tells Katniss 'they'll either want to kill you, kiss you, or be you.'

Let us not ever forget: when we are discussing our favorite parts of this movie, Suzanne Collins' overarching message was "This is what happens when your government gets too powerful."

This proves that THEATRE ARTISTS are more talented than Cinema actors ……🤔🤔🤔🤔

I find it so cool how anyone can create such distinctly different characters as the author of the books / the makers of this movie!
It is like a miracle to me, how one can hold such different souls inside oneself.

You know, as much as she hates Haymitch, he DOES have a point. The only time Katniss is sincerely believable as a character, whether she is the Girl on Fire or the Mockingjay, is when SHE is being herself. When they are dictating her heroism, its not believable. When she volunteered as Tribute to save Prim, when she sang Rue to her death and covered her in flowers, when she saved Peeta's life…..THAT was when I respected her.

Everything, from the background hitting sound effects to the "ok ok", to the dialogue, is so hilarious. It's a tongue in cheek parody of acting and the movie process, by the crew themselves. Fantastic stuff, I rewatch this sequence every time.
